How to Change Windows 7 Login Screen background

Go to start type Regedit in the search box and hit enter.You will now get regedit dashboard.clcik Ctrl+F key to search the whole registry for  the key

“HKEY\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\Background” once you found this now change the value of OEMBackground to 1 (This you will get on right side )

If you not found this key in registry don’t worry.Just add below code in to a notepad and save it as “Anyname.reg”

Now you need to add this registry key in to your system.You can do it by double cliking the registry file you created just before.

You are in halfway now.Come back to start in your windows 7 computer and go to search box  put “%windir%\system32\oobe”  in the search box and click enter.

You will now get a popoup folder window,open the info folder and create a folder right inside info folder and name it as “backgroundefault”.Now copy your own images to this folder.you done it .Make sure the image size is lessthan 256KB and it is in JPG format.

Everything you done succesfully .Just restart your windows 7 machine and see the changes.
