How To Capture/Record Your Screen in Windows 8 or 8.1
|There are many software and apps available to capture or record your screen in windows operating system. But do you know in windows 8 and windows 8.1 you don’t need any third party apps to be installed in your PC to capture/record your screen.
I will show you how you can do it in simple way using built in windows features.
Step 1: Click the windows button in your keyboard and search for “steps recorder ” in the search interface on the top right corner.
Step 2: Right click on it and select pin to task-bar. It will help you start the application easily from task-bar when you want to use it next time.
Step 3: open the steps reorder from task-bar and go to settings.
Step 4: Now select where you want to save your screen capture/recordings. In my case I selected the desktop and put the file name “screen”.
Step 5: start your first recording and end it when you wish. The output file will be automatically created in your selected location.
Done! Enjoy. Let me know if you have any issues. Your comments, suggestions are always welcome.
