Microsoft Redesigned “Xbox.com”
Microsoft just revealed their new website design for Xbox.com.The design brings a new social section that shows what Xbox friends are doing. Microsoft also replaced My Xbox on Xbox.com with a new section that provides access to the beacons feature in the next Xbox 360 dashboard.
This section also allows you to mark games you want to play with others, thus making easy for play games with your friends. Along with some new tools, Microsoft has also added search ability to the Zune video catalog and buy/rent movies and TV shows from Xbox.com.
Microsoft also updated their links section on the Xbox.com website that looks similar to Microsoft’s Windows Phone gaming hub. Now it will be easy for you to find out how many friends are online, How many messages you have etc.Another attraction in this category include the search function to the Zune video catalog where you can buy/rent movies and TV shows from Xbox.com to watch on their Xbox 360, Windows Phone or Zune device.
Microsoft brings this update as a part of Xbox 360 dashboard update that will bring Microsoft’s Metro style interface to the Xbox. The new dashboard will also enable Microsoft’s upcoming Windows Phone integration with Xbox.
