How to Enable Facebook video Calling Feature? [Official]
Few hours before Facebook announced Facebook video calling feature, Group chat, along with other improvements to Messages. With this post I would like to show you the steps to enable video calling feature on your Facebook account. To use Facebook video chat you need to install Facebook video call plug-in for your web browser. Go through the step by step process to install Facebook video calling feature.
Step 1: Go to your Facebook account and click on the facebook Video calling page
Step 2: Now Click on Get started
Once you clicked on this button Facebook will take you through the installation process of video calling application.
I tested the Facebook video calling plug-in on Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari and it works fine. In Firefox it showed me adobe flash player update required message,once I updated it‘s working Perfect.
Step 3: Facebook will download the Facebook plug-in named “facebookvideocallsetup.exe” .Click on the downloaded facebook application setup named ” facebookvideocallsetup.exe” to install the video calling plug-in.
Step 4: You are done it! Now Open the chat window on the lower right corner and open a chat box to call your friend and you can see a video button.
Click on it and start a video chat instantly with your friends and family members.
Update : When ever I tried Facebook video calling on Mozilla Firefox it giving me an error same as below.But it worked perfectly on Google Chrome 14 but not working on latest chrome browser 15.

I followed your instructions and it appears to run, but doesn’t show up in the add-ons list and does not load when I go to call in Firefox 5.0

In Firefox I’m also faced similar issue. Looks like some issue with Flash player plugin.You need the latest Flash player update to play with this facebook video chat.If you already updated to new flash player,Try re-installing the facebook video chat plugin.
Started using this feature but the only problem is chat feature is not embedded along with the video call may be they get it done soon..

Thanks for pointing it.Some updation is occurring for Facebook video calling.Looks like facebook “guys” are currently working on it for some improvements. Hope it’ll be available soon. :)) One more thing I would like to add that Opera Browser not support for Facebook video calling.I Prefer you Try it on IE,Firefox and Chrome.
