Google TV Update To Bring Android Market And Many New Features
Google TV one of the revolutionary product from Google, introduced back in October 2010. Google TV will bring millions of channels to your home through internet, including content from next generation creators, application developers, and networks.
Google just announced that they are bringing some big software updates to Google TV. Some of the software improvements include a brand new user interface for Google TV. Now Google TV will be simpler than before for normal man. Google TV home window is now fully customizable and all users will be getting an ‘App drawer’ similar to that we found in Google Android handsets.
Google worked well on the search part on Google TV, This time we are getting an improved search feature that will help us in to find content from Live TV, Netflix, YouTube, HBO GO and many more services. Another attraction include a dedicated “TV & Movies” application, Google TV users can use this application to browse through 80,000 movies and TV episodes from across a bunch of services.
As expected, Google integrated YouTube to Google TV to bring video content from YouTube direct to your home. Finally the biggest update includes the addition of android market, Means tons of Android applications coming to Google TV. There is more than 50 dedicated Google TV applications already available and many more in queue.
This software update will be coming to Sony devices from early next week. Logitech devices like the Revue will get the update soon after. I think Google TV again going to change your TV viewing experience. What do you think?
