Two Free Southwest Airlines Tickets Is Also A Facebook Scam

We are covering most of the news related to facebook security, recently we alerted you from Free Gift Card from Starbucks and Tim Horton’s facebook scam and this time we got “Two free Southwest Airlines Tickets” scam.

Security firm Sophosreporting that two free Southwest Airlines Tickets is a similar scam that operated past week on millions of facebook profiles. This scam spreading by claiming that Southwest Airlines is offering free tickets in a marketing promotion and you will be getting two tickets to any destination in the United States.

Looks Good! Isn’t it? if you think it’s a great offer and clicked on the message same as above, you will be directed to a webpage (shown below) where they will claim you are eligible for the competition and you have to share the link with your Facebook friends, adding the words “Southwest is the best” as a comment.

 

Don’t be fooled by these kinds of facebook scams. If you share similar kind of stuff on facebook means you are actually promoting the scam.
