Google Introduced Google+ Pages To Compete With Facebook Pages

Wow!  The much awaited feature on Google+ now becomes reality. Google just announced on their blog that they are pushing out the beta version of Google+ Pages to a small number of people.

Google+ Pages will now compete with group and business pages you see on Facebook. Now it’s not only people! Both these services will help you socialize you brand or business.

Google+ pages will work in the same style of facebook pages. When ever any user clicks +1 button on any Google + pages, they will see the latest updates from those business organizations or brands. Reciprocally Google + pages will help the brands or service providers to interact and connect with their customers in a new way.

Google also started including the Google+ pages in the search results, Google also introduced a “Direct Connect” feature.

For example, if you are an Angry Birds fan, then you can type a “+” symbol followed by Angry Birds in the search box and it will take you directly to their Google+ page. Apparently there are only a limited number of “Direct Connect” pages available at this time. The video below gives a little more detail of how this works.

 I think Google done a Good job by adding Google + pages. It will definitely going to influence many big brands and business organizations. I’m waiting for the stable release of Google + pages, where every one can have hands on to it.
