MeeGo- Android killer operating system getting final touch

Android is getting hotter now .Google mobile Operating system is making a faster industry presence than any other operating systems for mobile phones. Competition is heating up with both handset manufactures and OS developers.Nokia and Intel Joined hands together for MeeGo ,an open source project initiated by NOKIA and INTEL.

MeeGo distribution infrastructure and the operating system based on Linux kernel.MeeGo is not only for mobile phones it can be used in mobile phones, PDA’s, netbooks, and tablet PC moreover it can be used in-vehicle infotainment systems.MeeGo Operating system version 1.1 is expected to be launched this year end.

On 30th of June MeeGo website announced that MeeGo baseline source code will be available to MeeGo development community. You can test drive MeeGo at http://meego.com/downloads.You got four different options to download.
