Schedule Automatic Disk clean up in windows 7
Most of you may be aware of the clean up utility comes with windows system and also the importance of disk clean up. Cleaning up the disk will ensure that your windows operating system is running at optimal performance.
Windows 7 also come up with a disk clean utility which you can use for getting rid of unwanted files like temporary internet files ,setup log files,temp system files etc.Scheduling disk clean up task minimize your burden.
Today I want to show you how we can schedule the windows 7 disk clean up utility.
All you need to go to Start window of windows 7 in search box type TASK SCHEDULER and hit enter. A task scheduler window will pop up. Click on the create a basic task to create your task.
Put your name and Description click on next and you will get a task trigger window ,select the options from daily ,weekly,monthly,and when log on optional triggers etc and click on next. I prefer monthly option if you are a home user.
Now you have to select the start program option then next to continue. In Program script options put CLEANMGR.EXE and continue you will get a summary of your scheduled disk cleanup that you just created.
