Encrypt the web with HTTPS Everywhere -HTTPS add-on for Firefox

Privacy is the main concern over internet. Google recently allowed users to search Google securely with Google SSL certified website, means https://www.google.com. This allows users to protect their personal search.

Now the question comes in our mind that it possible to browse the  entire websites on the  planet with HTTPS ? The answer will be yes if you are using  Firefox browser. Firefox add on named HTTPS Everywhere developed by the collaboration between The Tor Project and the Electronic Frontier Foundation will do this job for you.

Few of the websites on this planet now offering data encrypting facility over HTTPS  But most of these websites still include a lot of content from third party domains that is not available over HTTPS. You can solve this issue if you are using Firefox browser. This Add on works for GoogleSearch,Wikipedia,Twitter,Facebook,most of Amazon,GMX,Wordpress.com blogs, The New York Times, The Washington Post,Paypal,EFF,Tor,Ixquick and many more websites.

Testing all sites on the planet with HTTPS Everywhere is not possible but experimenting is the main key. Once the plug-in emerges from beta we can expect more websites will be added to the preference list.
