Microsoft team pushed out the service pack 1 for their world famous office suite 2010.This new office update (KB2460049) coming with new improved features on security, performance and stability.

 

Office applications on this Microsoft office suite including Outlook 2010,Word 2010, PowerPoint 2010, Excel 2010, OneNote 2010 and Access 2010.Most of them got lot of improvements with SP1 update. It is expected to improve the overall stability, performance and backward compatibility of these applications.

Major Changes on Microsoft Office 2010 Include

 

PowerPoint 2010 SP1 default behavior for the Use Presenter View option is changed to display the slide show on the secondary monitor, and display the notes on the primary monitor.

Outlook 2010 SP1 includes Office 365 support.

 

Access 2010 SP1 adds a new feature to integrate community content in the Application Parts gallery.

 

OneNote 2010 SP1 added a new “Open from web option” that is located under the File Open menu. This enables you to open OneNote notebooks from Windows Live SkyDrive.
