Download Official YouTube Application For Windows Phone 8
The most widely used application for windows phone finally come back. I think it was in May this year, when Google asked Microsoft to pull out the YouTube application that Microsoft built for windows phone 8 operating system that violated Google’s TOS by not displaying ads with the videos. Microsoft responded immediately and removed the application from it’s store.
Apparently both Google and Microsoft worked together for the past three months and bring the updated version of YouTube Application for Windows Phone 8 users.
The new YouTube app comes with the ability to upload videos from your own windows phone, live streaming of YouTube videos, voice search and voice activation from the Home screen. Microsoft also provided the complete list of new features on official YouTube App that include,
- Manage your YouTube profile with your unique My YouTube page
- Manage your playlists, uploads and video lists
- Find channels, videos and playlists with the quick access search bar with new search suggestions
- Share videos to social networks, e-mail and text messages
- Let your kids enjoy age appropriate videos in Kid’s Corner and keep their own profile
- Enjoy Live video streaming
- Upload videos from your Windows Phone
- Pin videos, playlists, channels and search queries to the Start screen as Live Tiles
The new official windows phone application is around 3MB in size and it is presently on version 3.2.0.0, and it support both windows phone 8 and windows phone 7.5 devices.
