Facebook added new security features

Yesterday Facebook launched one-time password to make it safer to use computer’s in public places.To use this new security feature you need a cellphone number in your account profile.Once you send a text message “otp” to 32665 (If you are in united states) from your cellphone.This is a country specific number.Once you send the message with in no time you will receive a password that can be used only one time and will expire in 20 minutes.In coming weeks in will get an international roll-out.

Facebook security update

Secondly the Remote Facebook sign out facility  is now available to everyone. The remote sessions will help Facebook users if they are logged in from friends computer ,internet café and then forget to signout.You can view all your Facebook active sessions information from account settings tab in Facebook.More over you can even shutdown unauthorised login.
