Google Shut down Android Market Developer Support Forum
Android developer’s have a bad day!! – Google shut down their android market developer support forum. One of the Google employee named “HeidiLC” today added in android support forum that,
“from August 22 on, this Android Market forum will be dedicated to user issues and discussion.Because of the nature of developer issues, we feel that one-on-one support is best for the types of threads that have historically been posted to this forum by app developers.Moving forward, threads regarding developer-facing issues will be closed, and we ask that developers report Android Market issues here so we can address your concerns in a timely manner:”
Android Market Developer Support Forum mostly used by many android coders to discuss issues with the Android market or application development. Now, Google’s going to focus on supporting android developers one-by-one, handling issues only when developers directly contact them. The advantage with one-by-one approach is that developers will get timely and in-depth answers to their questions that were not often provided on the forums.
Google has said that the current “known issues” page will remain open until all of those bugs are fixed. Thereafter, the company will handle bugs on an issue-to-issue basis. As an android developer what do you think ? One by one approach from google is good or not ?
