Google Translate On Android Now Offers Real-time Automated Audio Translation for 14 Languages
Google first introduced the conversion mode to Google translate for android back in January this year and today Google added more languages in the service. Now your Android device can speak 14 more languages adding Brazilian Portuguese, Czech, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Polish, Russian and Turkish. This update will help everyone to communicate and connect easily with out the language barrier.
How Google translate conversation mode works ?
To use Conversation Mode, all you have to do is just speak into your phone’s microphone, and the Translate app will translate what you’ve said and read the translation out loud. The person you’re speaking with can then reply in their language, and Conversation Mode will translate what they said and read it back to you.
Google optimized Google translate android application to give better experience on your android tablet.Other updated features include ability to post-edit and correct speech input in Conversation Mode (requires RECORD_AUDIO permission.) and ability to view translation results in full screen mode. You can download the updated Google Translate application from the Android Market.
