GroupMe Now Become Part of Skype

Skype Officially announced that they acquired GroupMe, the expertise in text messaging field. According to AllthningsD, the acquisition worth for $85 million but Skype not disclosed the terms of the deal officially. GroupMe will now have access to Skype’s 175 million monthly connected users

 

GroupMe was founded in 2010 and Skype acquired GroupMe just a year after the group messaging startup officially launched to the public.
