How to Change Default Font Size in Windows 7 Computer

Windows 7 already got ton’s new features and improvements compared to any other windows version but there is still newbie’s on windows 7 who don’t know most of the features. Today we are going to discuss about the one feature that looks simple but most of the Windows 7 users still not aware of It. Yes! I am talking about how to change font size in Windows 7 Computer. Let’s break it down to simple steps.

Step1: Go to Control Panel and Click on Appearance and personalization.

Step 2: Now click on the Display and you will get options available for making text larger or smaller on your computer Screen. In my Computer I got the smaller, medium, larger options. Some times the larger options will not see in your computer if your display not supporting 1200 x 900 pixels.

    • Smaller – 100% (default). This keeps text and other items at normal size.
    • Medium – 125%. This sets text and other items to 125% of normal size.
    • Larger – 150%. This sets text and other items to 150% of normal size.Windows-7-font-settings

Step 3: once you made the Changes click on Apply and restart your Windows 7 computer to apply these changes.

You can customize font size on windows 7 computer even larger by setting the custom text size. If you want to make it larger click on the set custom text size option on the left lower corner of the display option window and select the higher percentage of normal text size.
