How To Upgrade Windows Phone 7 Device To 7.5 (Mango)

Microsoft is recently released their brand new mobile operating system named Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. Microsoft is presently doing mango update to selected number of users. If you got lucky you will be one of them.

Step 1: Make sure you connected your Windows phone to the computer and run Zune software.

Step 2: Go to Phone> Settings> Upgrade / update (Phone> Settings> Update). I think you need to wait few seconds until the program respond to your request. Step 3: Click the update button again, and this time immediately disconnect your computer from the Internet (some people have better luck waiting 1 to 2 seconds). Do this by pulling the Ethernet cable, disabling Wi-Fi and ensuring there is no Internet connection.

Step 4: Wait for 30 seconds and you will receive a notification saying an update Is available, This will give you a 7392, a post-NoDo security update.

Step 5: Now connect your computer back to the Internet and continue with the update process through the Zune client.

Step6: After 7392 is fully installed, you may receive a notification that another update is available for you . If so, go ahead and install Windows Phone Mango now. If not, proceed to the next step.

Step 7: If the second update isn’t popping up on its own, repeat steps 3-5, causing the 7403 update to appear. Once it become visible, please Install 7403.

Step 8: You are almost done .After 7403 is installed, Zune should automatically start installing 7720, Mango update. If it doesn’t happen automatically, force it using steps 3-5 once again.
