Ministry of defence in india planning to develop new computer Operating System

Indian defence research and development organisation all set to build a new computer operating system.The news confirmed by one of the government spokesperson.DRDO(Defence research and development organisation),under ministry of defence in india and already have more than 50 labs  specialized in developing various technolgies.The new operating system initially used in defence applications later may be expected to hit local market.

Ministry of defence come up with this new project  due to the recent attacks on india’s computer infrastructure.Most of the gov websites in india are facing major cyber attacks from china and Pakistan.With this new initiative government hopes they will be able to prevent hacking of their systems.Ministry of defence set up two software center’s for the new project,one in Delhi and other in Bangalore.
