Receive windows live Hotmail on your PC
You can receive Microsoft Hotmail on your PC using pop3 with out Microsoft windows live mail installation, to do these you have to go through some basic steps.Before we continue Make sure you have office outlook on your PC.
now check out the step by step picturisation of our task.
Go to control panel and click on mail icon one mail setup window will popup, click on e-mail accounts option on mail setup window.
select add a new account on e-mail Accounts window.
Select server type as pop3, tick on it and click next to continue.
Enter all the information of your Hotmail account and select incoming mail server as POP3.live.com and outgoing mail server as SMTP.live.com now click on more settings it will open an internet e-mail settings window.point your mouse to outgoing server tab put my outgoing server requires authentication tick mark and make sure the selection is on use same settings as my incoming mail server.
Now click on the advanced tab put incoming server port as 995 and outgoing as 587 or 25
Once everything you put correctly click ok and test you account by clicking test account setting on e-mail accounts window.If everything gone fine you will get a message same as below.
now finish the installation
