“ReFS” will be the New File System For Windows 8 Operating System
Microsoft Windows 8 will be the next front line operating system after windows 7.Microsoft development team already working on numerous new features on windows 8 operating system. I hope you remember, Last time we shared you the leaked image of windows 8 showing the customization of start screen from winunleaked and this time they leaked the new file system for windows 8.
Few days before we found Protogon file system on windows 8 build but now it looks like Microsoft decided to bring new file system named “ReFS” on the new windows 8 build. The previous windows 8 build showed Protogon file system only through the command mode but the latest leaked image showing “ReFS” file system as an option in the disk formatting utility on windows 8 OS. Below we added the leaked image of new ReFS file system on windows 8 OS.But it is still not clear Microsoft will go with “ReFS” file system for windows 8 operating system.
We are expecting a public beta release of windows 8 early 2012 and until now no confirmation from Microsoft regarding the new file system on windows 8 OS. All we can do now is just wait for the public beta release of windows 8 operating system or any blog update from Microsoft.
