Windows Phone 7.5 Mango OS will be Upgrading to Tango and Apollo in Quarter 2 &4 of 2012

According to the leaked resources, Windows phone operating system will be getting a major upgrade on last quarter of 2012.The source claiming that they have already got the upgrade map of new windows phone operating system hand on.

As per the roadmap shown on the leaked image, in the second quarter of 2012 Microsoft will be pushing out windows phone tango operating system. This update will bring windows phone experience to cheap, low-end devices. This update will also bring some more enhanced features than windows phone mango operating system. The Windows Phone Tango update will be bringing products with best prices too. I don’t know Microsoft will be able to deliver the tango update on time because we have Windows phone 7.5 released only few months before.

Finally the fourth quarter of 2012, Microsoft will be pushing out the major upgrade for their mobile operating system. This operating system is code named as Apollo. Apollo will coincide with a better range of handsets and it will be coming on “Competitive Smartphones” to increase the volume.

Microsoft will be releasing Apollo powered devices or we can say “super phones” targeting the enterprise environment. Windows Phone Apollo powered devices will be coming with multi-core processors that we not found on windows phone 7 devices.

Windows Phone Apollo is specially designed for some new range of super phones to challenge Apple’s next-generation iPhone .We can expect some big names integrated by default on Windows Phone Apollo.
