Microsoft Tested World’s First Under Water Data Center :Project Natick

Building a massive data center is always a big task and Microsoft surprised everyone with an underwater datacenter while cutting high energy cost.

Microsoft believes,the under water data center will be faster, cost-effective, environmentally friendly and easier to set up.Due to this reason Microsoft code named the world’s first underwater datacenter as “ project Natick” and today they officially tested the proto type version of undersea datacenter.

Microsoft’s Project Natick research team include Eric Peterson, Spencer Fowers, Norm Whitaker, Ben Cutler, Jeff Kramer. Recently they successfully tested the proto type version of underwater data center.Watch the video here.
